A Friendship Group

If connecting with mums who are in a similar situation (young/unsupported/lonely/isolated..) is what you are looking for, and you don’t want to face your pregnancy alone, a MummyLink group is a great way to connect with other young mums in your local area.

MummyLink is for young (or pregnant) mums under the age of 25 who have a child under 3 years of age. It offers a way to make new friends, share challenges, joys or concerns, pick up some mothering skills and find encouragement in your role as a mum. (This group is also open to pregnant women who have not had their babies yet.)

We meet for a couple of hours fortnightly during school terms, and offer various activities; crafts, outings, learning opportunities, a coffee and chat with friends and supportive group leaders. And it’s all offered free of charge.

An Encouragement

Take the plunge. Let the fears go. You don’t have to do it alone. Friends are what help pull us through life’s challenges. If the people in your world are not encouraging you then the best thing you can do is find someone who will. And we’d love to be part of that answer for you.
